Day 125: Michigan Weekend

Nine of my closest friends and I are spending the weekend in Michigan at a lovely house not far from Lake Michigan. Around 8pm, a few of us walked down to the beach, and I snapped some pictures. The conditions were a bit challenging for me because it was foggy and generally kind of dim outside, but I like the mood of the pictures. Sort of wistful, I guess.

Day 72: Backyard

I am so excited! I bought my first ever DSLR camera last week,  a Canon Rebel T2i, and I got my lens in the mail today so I was finally able to take pictures with it. I haven’t read a single bit of the users manual for the camera, so I didn’t really know what I was doing, but it was still fun to hang out in my backyard and snap a few pictures.

Day 71: Front Porch

In celebration of the beautiful spring weather we had in Chicago today, these are a few pictures of the outdoors, mostly taken from my front porch.
